TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
1. Film Thickness & Structure
We utilize premium 8 mil (200 micron) thickness films consisting of three integrated layers: a hydrophobic top coat (releasing dirt & water), an elastomeric self-healing polyurethane core, and a pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive layer that binds permanently to clear coat without peeling.
2. Self-Healing Mechanics
Our film's polyurethane core possesses elastic memory. When exposed to heat (sunlight, hot water, engine warmth), the polymer fibers realign, fusing micro-scratches, swirl marks, and minor abrasions back to a smooth high-gloss surface.
3. Edge Wrap Integrity
Standard shops cut film flush to panel edges. Auto Matrix wraps film 1/8" behind hoods, doors, trunk lips, and light seams, hiding seams entirely, ensuring no dirty lines or lifting over time.
